GULF COAST FLORIDA
SEPTEMBER (5 days) £1200
The Gulf Coast of Florida has pretty much everything - sand, sea and sun. It’s also rich in bio-diversity, with mangrove swamps supporting a huge range of wildlife including alligators, manatee, dolphin and more.
Our Local Hosts
A CAA Licensed Pilot in the UK, Robin is a former Senior Broadcast Journalist with the BBC and has won multiple awards for his photography. An American native, he’s been visiting family in Florida his whole life - and flying a drone there for half a dozen years.
Arrive into either Tampa or Orlando, for transfer to St. Petersburg. Spend evening flying and exploring America’s most highly rated beaches - one of the very best in the World!

We’ll travel up to Tarpon Springs, a unique wildlife habitat, for flying and (for those who want) a leisurely boat trip.
Early departure and travel across the width of Florida to visit NASA Space Centre at Cape Canaveral, with several flying stops en route. Possible sun-set flying at nearby beaches.
Morning flying. Transfer to Orlando for departure or extra days holiday.
We’ll stay in business standard hotels with easy access to the locations we’ll be visiting. Each person will have their own room, typically with double bed. Most hotels do have swimming pools.

Sunset Boat Trip
In the Tampa Bay area, setting out on a sunset boat trip is on the bucket list of just about every visitor. It’s a great opportunity to orient yourself to the famous Florida lifestyle of food, drink and the great out doors.
Kayaking with Manatee
Near Tarpon Springs, it is possible to join a kayaking tour with a high probability that you’ll have the opportunity to see wild manatee up close.
Disney, Waterparks and Universal Studio
Let’s not be ashamed about it - there is a tonne of stuff to do in Orlando, no matter what your age.
Major League Sports
Baseball is a bit like cricket: a gentle game full of quirks and traditions. American football has it’s similarities to Rugby. And Basketball is sort of like rounders. Whatever your American professional sport fix, Florida has a team for you - it’s home to no fewer than TEN major league teams before you even start counting sports like soccer and lacrosse. Tickets will depend on team schedules and availability.
